Donations

Community organizations are always in need of donations, but even more so during the holiday season. Depending on the organizations they may be accepting cash, food, toys, or other types of supplies and items for those in need. Look around the house and see if you have any gently used items that you are ready to pass on.

Sponsor a family or child

Sponsoring a family is a wonderful way to ensure they have a good holiday season. There are many ways to get involved. You could sponsor them along with coworkers, as part of a classroom, school, or through other means.

Ensuring everyone gets a warm meal during the holidays is important. Unfortunately, there are many families and individuals who need assistance to get fed this time of year. There are several ways you can be involved in addition to donating food yourself. You could volunteer at your local food bank, homeless shelter, or even collect food donations at your local grocery store or mall.
